Charter FAQ

WHAT SHOULD WE BRING ON THE BOAT?

We provide a cooler with ice and communal water, a bag of Topsail Island Popcorn Factory popcorn and two beach chairs. You are welcome to bring any other food or beverages that you would like, including alcoholic beverages. You may also want to bring: Sunscreen, towels or additional beach chairs (or rent our towels or chairs, $5 ea) refillable water bottles and any other beach or boat attire you may need. The weather and temperature can change quickly on the water, so please keep that in mind when packing for your cruise.

CAN WE BRING MORE THAN SIX PEOPLE?

Coast Guard regulations limit the number of passengers on uninspected vessels to six people at one time. If you are planning a beach day, an Island Seafood Boil, or any adventure where you would like to stay on an island for an extended period of time we can ferry your larger group to the desired location in groups of six.

WHAT ABOUT OUR DOG?

Your well behaved dog is pawsitively welcome to join us for your cruise. There is a $25 fee to bring your pup. We provide treats and a bowl for water. If your dog isn't available and you love dogs our Second Mate, Amelia, would love to join you. She is a Black lab and Australian shepherd mix that loves boating and the beach.

WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT THE DAY OF OUR CRUISE?

Our Coast Guard licensed captain will meet you with the boat at the agreed upon departure location. If you are staying somewhere with a private dock it may be possible for you to pick you up at your dock, or at another alternate location from our standard departure locations. Arriving approximately 10 minutes early to your departure location will allow you time to get situated and provide time to load the boat and depart on time. Once everyone is on board the Captain will conduct a safety brief and you will be on your way.

ARE LAST MINUTE / SHORT NOTICE / SAME DAY BOOKINGS AVAILABLE?

Last-minute or same-day bookings for charters or rentals may be available. Please call or text 910-760-8541 to inquire about booking on short notice. Depending on the amount of time before your requested charter or rental, payment will be due at the time of booking or 3 hours before departure.

OTHER INFORMATION

- Adult and child sized life jackets are provided. You are welcome to bring your own Coast Guard approved life jacket for your child to wear while we are cruising. State and federal regulations require children under the age of 13 to wear life jackets while underway.

- For your enjoyment the boat is equipped with a Bluetooth stereo system that you can easily connect to and play music of your choice. We also offer float pads, beach shades, beach umbrellas and beach chairs that can be added onto your cruise.

- All guests must sign a waiver prior to cruise departure. The waiver will be included in your confirmation and welcome aboard email.

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

-   Your $50 deposit is fully refundable up to one week before your cruise. Payment in full is due 72 hrs before your departure. You can also pay in full at the time of your booking, and a full refund will be provided up to 72 hrs before your departure, minus the $50 deposit which requires one week's notice to be refunded

CANCELLATION DUE TO WEATHER

-  The safety and comfort of our guests is our highest priority. The coastal weather is ever changing and unpredictable, and may cause alterations to our cruise plan or unavoidable cancellation due to high winds, fog, lightning and thunderstorms. We constantly watch the NOAA Marine Weather forecast and will be in contact with you regarding the weather for your departure. If a cancellation is caused by weather we will make every effort to reschedule your cruise. If your cruise is unable to be rescheduled you will be issued a refund. Rental Information

- Rentals are available in 24 hour increments from one day up to one week. Please inquire if you would like to rent an item for longer than one week.  Discounts are automatically applied when you rent more than one item or when you rent for multiple days. 

- All rentals are delivered and picked up from your location. Rentals are typically delivered at approximately 11 AM, and are picked up at approximately 9 AM on the day your rental period ends. Delivery and pickup times may vary slightly, we will be in contact to confirm your specific times. 

- A $25 deposit is required to hold your rental reservation. The deposit is fully refundable if cancelled with one weeks notice. Complete payment for your rental is due at the time of delivery. 

- A rental waiver must be signed before equipment will be dropped off.
